26 Bridal Shower Decoration Ideas for 2023

If you’re the bride planning her own bridal shower or you’re a bridesmaid or maid of honour who has taken up the task, then you’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for bridal shower decoration ideas!

From cake toppers to welcome signs and balloon arches, there are so many products you can find that will glam up your bridal shower, and in this article we’ve rounded up some lovely options to suit every budget!

1. Bridal Shower Welcome Signs

First impressions are everything, so with a welcome sign, you can set the vibe from the moment the guests start to arrive. A welcome sign is a perfect way to make the bride feel special (especially if it is a surprise for her!).

If you’re aiming to keep costs down, the budget-friendly option for a welcome sign is the DIY option which isn’t as complicated as you might think! For a total cost of around £25, you can create a luxury sign which doesn’t break the bank! This cost assumes you don’t have an A3 printer and will need to use a local printing company, this is usually quite cheap to do!

Etsy has a range of digital welcome signs which you can personalise and print. We loved this bridal shower sign on the bottom left by PaperMinxPrintables, and we thought it would pair perfectly with this gold, a3 frame on Amazon (which costs under £10!).

You can also find a gorgeous range of acrylic signs on Etsy or Not On The High Street if you prefer the more convenient option! This gorgeous acrylic sign can be found on Etsy.

2. Balloon Decorations

Balloon decor like arches and ceiling decorations have been a huge trend lately, and there are some gorgeous and affordable options on the market.

Our favourite balloon ideas have been shown below – also suitable for different budgets!

One of our recommendations below is a lovely balloon arch. A balloon arch is a statement decoration that is so extra you probably won’t need many other decorations to accompany it, as it really is a focal point.

If you opt for a balloon arch, you’ll need a few bridesmaids handy around 2 hours before the bridal shower to set it all up.

3. Tableware & Food

The small but finishing touches like straws, plates and confetti really help to bring the whole occasion together which is why we recommend considering some bridal shower tableware.

Will you have a grazing table or a bridal afternoon brunch? Deciding first on the type of food you will have will be helpful when it comes to choosing the tableware you need.

There are so many fun and affordable ways you can create a luxury look. Some of our ideas below include the most popular rose gold theme, and some floral ideas too. Of course, we’ve still managed to add in some penis confetti for the laughs (whilst still keeping it classy!).

For something slightly more colourful, these gorgeous floral team bride plates will look pretty as a place setting.

Adding some confetti to the table will add some sparkle. Our confetti choices below are our favourites, and even better, both can be found in our store!

4. Drinkware

Why not welcome the guests with a refreshing drink, even better, the welcome drink could be the bride’s favourite cocktail! Jaclyn Clark has a lovely cocktail recipe on her blog called the Love Potion, which although is a valentines day cocktail, makes a lovely bridal shower drink too.

A gin fizz or a simple mimosa is also an alternative cocktail idea that are both quite simple to make but look pretty!

We’re loving the coloured glassware trend, so if your budget can stretch, we found this set of 6 on Amazon. If not, some rose gold paper cups will be just as lovely.

5. Banners

Banners are a bridal decor must-have that come in handy for those bare walls or plain spaces in a room.
They can be used to decorate a food table or can be draped across windows to add a bit of glam!

Our favourites have been shown below. We chose these banners because we felt they were more personal! The banner with the photo pegs is a lovely way to add photos of the bride and groom, and the personalised banner in the second image from Etsy is a fun way to celebrate her new last name!

6. Cake Toppers

If you plan on having some sweet treats or a cake for the bride-to-be, a cake topper is a lovely decoration piece which costs very little, but is something that she will love and can keep. Our favourite cake toppers have been shown below.

We loved these cupcake toppers too, as cupcakes make a lovely favour and these add even more prettiness!

7. Bottle Labels

One of our personal favourites for a bridal shower are bottle labels. Not only do they make such pretty decor on the table, they also double up as a lovely bridal shower favour too.

The first design is a DIY (print at home) option, where you can download the labels for different-sized bottles including large wine bottles.

The second option is a gorgeous but simple gold foil tag that can be added to your small or large gin, prosecco or wine bottles!

8. Backdrops

We are loving backdrops at the moment, as they’re not only a great way to cheer up a dull room, but they also double as an area to capture some nice photos!

From foil curtains to floral backdrops, there are so many to choose from, but our favourites have been shown below. We especially love the first option because it is eco-friendly.

9. Groom Props

It wouldn’t be a hen do without some funny props of the groom! From groom tattoos to cardboard cut-outs, making him a part of the night (without his presence!) is a fun but personable touch that the bride to be will love. Here are some of our favourite ideas below.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this article and it has given you some inspiration to get planning! We’d love to see your bridal shower when it takes place!
